Please note that on sat nav, road signs, formal addresses and some maps the hamlet of Molenrij is called Kloosterburen (name of larger, neighbouring village). Don't worry: 1 Mosterdpad, Kloosterburen will get you to the Little Green Cottage just as easily.

How to get here

On request we'll gladly send you a detailed itenary. In short:

By Car (2,5 hrs): Molenrij is just 35 minutes' car-drive away from Groningen city and only 2,5 hrs from Amsterdam, Amsterdam/Schiphol Airport or IJmuiden harbour and about 3,5 hrs from the Hook of Holland. Its easiest to use your sat nav (see above). Please park on the village road of Molenrij and walk to the lane signposted ''Mosterdpad''. Ring the bell at nr. 1, the 2nd house on your left (sign in window ''De Groene Luwte''). You've arrived!

By train and bus (3,5 hrs): You can easily reach us by train and bus, in about 3,5 hrs from Amsterdam. Your train destination is Winsum (province of Groningen). Change at Groningen city and take the Roodeschool-line for Winsum (15 min.). Opposite Winsum train station take the (mini)bus to Leens. Your bus-stop is Molenrij (Van Cappenbergweg). Walk to the crossroads, turn left and then first right at the lane signposted ''Mosterdpad''. Ring the bell at nr. 1, the 2nd house on your left (in window ''De Groene Luwte''). You've arrived!
